away from home, away for work

This was not the best couple of days to be physically away from my usual distractions. Or to sleep in a strange bed.

Unfortunately, work required it. And so here I am...

I kind of wish I'd contacted a friend and asked if I could stay in her spare room or something. Do dinner, even. A distraction of some kind or another. But I'm booked for a dinner at 7pm. So that will be fun.

How was dinner?

It was good. Really delicious. I had no appetite, though - when I get super-stressed, I stop wanting to eat - so all I had was the main and some water.
