Done some sewing things in the last few months, slowly getting back on the wagon, but struggling quite a bit.

The "Pretty Tote Bag - page is entirely in Korean and FB wouldn't let me post the link!

The bag itself is pretty good, though, even if my execution is...not entirely great...

I'm planning to make one for my mum in the coming days...

A banner for a friend to hang up in her window come Inauguration Day. Unfortunately, badly vertically spaced:

And a 'star curtain' to hang in the front window to be seen at night:

I've also been doing some cooking using my new KitchenAid stand mixer. (So good...)

Cinnamon scrolls - Mark II
Various Various

There was nothing wrong with Mark I Cinnamon Scrolls. They were swiftly consumed at my gardening group Christmas party back on the 5th December! But having the KitchenAid to do the kneading? Made making it so damn EASY!

Today, I made Italian Buttercream Icing/Frosting. It's stored in the fridge for use in a Buche de Noel later this week. I should probably try to put it in the freezer, though. Just got no space in there right now!

I've decided to branch out from my traditional Christmas dessert of pavlova with fruit and cream. I'm aiming for a Black Forest Pavlova instead, and maybe a Buche de Noel...or possibly two smaller ones? IDK. Gotta make a decision on that. Also, work out timing, because B2 will be making her potato salad on Thursday.

Got my YT assignment in. It is...acceptable. Barely. Needs work. Seriously bus standard. I have this grand story all planned out in my head but...

Also, I'm looking at treating someone right now and I just... I want to but I don't think I have the time. I'm supposed to be working this week, and with whatever virus I have right now...well, I'm probably (???) being over-ambitious in the things that I imagine I can do.

- dessert for Christmas Day
- dessert for Boxing Day
- fix YT assignment
- make a bag for mum's Christmas gift
- work (probably) up to Christmas Eve - and I have no idea how much work there'll be when going back after having last week off.

Okay, okay, it's 10pm. I'm going to bed now.

*sigh*

Lovely gifts! (Fuck the vertical spacing, it says what it needs to say!)

And I'm incredibly jealous of your cinnamon buns as I have been craving those recently.

The gifts are lovely.

Also I'm now craving cinnamon rolls just looking at yours.

I use Alton Brown's overnight cinnamon rolls, which are divine. And, like you said, having a KitchenAid to do the kneading helps a lot (although I never really minded kneading).

I'm not sure what isn't right with the "execution" on your bag because I think it looks amazing! Also love the Biden banner, despite the spacing not turning out the way you wanted, and the star window banner is a brilliant idea!

That tote is super cute, and I *love* the star curtain! Is that just cotton fabric?

That curtain is gorgeous!
