TO DO: Christmas Eve list

Already been shopping, got some bits and pieces needed, a dress pattern printout to make in the break, and cat food...

The line for the seafood shop at the local mall? Was about a hundred people long and wended its way into the shopping centre carpark. It was being managed by centre staff, but not enough people wore masks. *grr*

• make mum's shoulderbag


• make stepsis-in-law-2B a gift (zippered bag?)


• make pavlova bases for boxing day


• finish and decorate buche de noel


• canvas neighbours for Christmas Day food scraps/grass clippings for the chooks


• rake gutter leaves for chooks


• write and post cards (yes, I know!!)


• finish the rewrite of YT assignment (bleh)

That line is insane! I'm afraid I'd just do without seafood.

It's fairly standard for Christmas around here. Seafood is a huge part of the Christmas feast for many families in Sydney and across Australia.

That makes sense. It's summer for you. For us, it's the dead of winter. It's a different time of year and a different type of meal.

Honestly, the 'rake gutter leaves' and 'stepsis-in-law2B gift' and 'postcards' are likely to fall by the wayside... *wincing look*

Especially since it's 2pm and I've done very little of this list except the rewrite.
