Mandatory masks indoors in 'Greater Sydney Area' (includes Wollongong and parts of south coast) as of today, with fines to begin tomorrow.

This includes shopping centres, places of worship, public transport, theatres and entertainments, hairdressers and beauty salons.

There's been some whinging here and there on social media, but they pretty soon get told to shut up and wear an effing mask.

I wear a mask all the time inside at work. People should stop whining and suck it up. It's not that bad.

Not anti-maskers, just "I won't do it until there's active legal consequences for me not to do it" types. They'll mask up readily enough when it's mandated, they just can't be arsed doing so until it's mandated.
