Trying to decide if this story should have an obvious baddie that they've been chasing all the way, or if post hoc is not the same as propter hoc (or however that saying goes).
An obvious baddie would make the story smaller and neater. A less obvious baddie stretches out the story quite a bit more.
Which, in this case, could mean some serious points. I mean, I have all week in which to do it. Just not sure if I have te brainspace.
