Well it arrived.

Except that the delivery guy/installer took one look at the sink setup and said he couldn't install it. *sigh*

So we have called a plumber and they will be here on Monday afternoon to look at and quote. Hopefully less than was advertised by the company that the delivery guy/installer suggested.

*sigh*

Today has been exhausting.

Urgh, plumbers. J's dad installed all of our dishwashers so far... if the quote's hair-raising, maybe I could ask him to take a look?

The guy who delivered it said that it needed to be done by a plumber for 'insurance purposes'. Mind you, at the point where the dishwasher leaks and destroys the cabinetry, I'd probably go for a new kitchen...

The quote is not awful, but...I'm a little bit "I'm reasonably sure I could do that myself with the tools and some troubleshooting..."
