life and dishwashers

Ran a short/glassware cycle to check it fills and drains properly and it seems pretty good. Not great on the drying-after-wash front, though. Still seems awfully damp inside.

Saw a sports physio and got some treatment and some exercises to do. Back is less stiff and hurts less, although it's still sore.

Day off work tomorrow - asked for a day off because my permaculture group is heading off to view a permaculture farm about 3 hours away. Should be a good day.

Hurray for functional dishwasher! I have had several crappy ones with similar drying issues - do you want any tips?

Yes, tips, please! It's been, oh, possibly more than a decade since we had a functional dishawasher in the house!

Also, unfortunately you have to run in it the most electricity-using way possible.

I'm trying to use low-chemical stuff, so I made some dishwasher tablets (we'll see how it goes) and used a little apple cider vinegar as rinse-aid. Not sure how it's going to do - I put in a cycle this morning and we'll check it out...

Yeah, the back is better. Still a bit stiff and pinchy on the sides, but otherwise manageable. Going to keep stretching, and maybe try to book another massage.

And the trip was absolutely amazing. Good trip up and trip down, and the farm was 100% worth seeing. (Limestone Permaculture Farm if you have an interest in looking at it from way across the world!)
