Day 7: What's the longest time you've been in a fandom. Not necessarily your oldest fandom, but a fandom that you started and still continue to read/write/create content for in some way.
There are no clear delineations of fandom for me.
Does Star Wars count? Because I was a fan creator (sort of: plotting fics counts as fannish creation) back in the early 80s, before I turned 10. But that's had two resurgences, three if you count the EU/Legacy books.
I wasn't really creating for Discworld back in the mid-90s. I did write GenX fic, but I haven't for decades. I started writing Stargate SG1 fic in November 2001, and my most recent SG1 fic was October 2019 (but the one before that was 2017, and the one before that was 2012). Atlantis got a good five years out of me, and still occasionally has a handful of fics. MCU got a solid 7 years before I burned out and will probably get a few more. Justice League spanned from 2004 to this year. So did Harry Potter.
