Welp. They've extended my contract for another year.
My initial talk (about three weeks ago) only mentioned six months, although I figured I'd be renewed for the six months after that.
Admittedly, I think there's like three weeks' notice if they want me gone (unless I've committed a federal crime in which case it'll probably be three hours or something), and one week's notice on my part. So it's not a hard-and-fast cladding. But it does mean I have a regular job for the next twelve months.
