So, I went day-by-day through my 2019 DW posts. Don't quite remember why anymore.

It was kind of fascinating.

Tonight, I am doing a go-live - our part may end around 11pm, and then start tomorrow at 5am. I'm already tired, probably not going to make it too well through tomorrow.

OTOH, a burger dinner is supposed to be coming by. If the sister remembers to collect it. Unfortunately, I first set the time for 7pm, then when sister discovered she had a physio appointment, asked them to change it to 6pm.

It is now 6:44pm, and I shouldn't have bothered changing the time of the order. I should have remembered that B1 always underestimates how long it will take to do something, and then ends up being late.

Oh well.

What's happening out there elsewhere, pray tell?

I went climbing last night and got all zenned out and the Rays CRUSHED the Yankees 14-0. Otherwise I finished the Murderbot books. OMG, those are wonderful. Funny, interesting, mystery/science fiction. Great characters. I want MORE! Six was not enough.

I've started vacation with the goal of relaxing and seeing movies. I've also been watching a lot of the Olympics with the Canadian women doing very well. I don't think the men have won any medals yet.

The Prime Minister is showing signs of wanting to call an election soon so he can get his majority government. I would much prefer a summer without an election and to have him stay a minority government.

Canada also has its first Indigenous Governor General and I'm looking forward to see what she does in her new role.

She's the Queen's representative, calls for the elections, reads the Throne speech, dissolves parliament and other ceremonial duties. Previous GG's have focused and promoted various issues such as Youth, the North, arts, learning and science.
