Damn chickens, squawking their egg announcements before 9am on a Sunday. Most weekday mornings it's 7am-ish. And it's just going to get earlier as summer goes on.

Today temperatures were around 30C. We haven't even hit the equinox. I splashed water on most of my plants, tried to water the beds (before the plug at the end of the connection blew and I needed to replace it), and made sure the chooks had water.

Went for a walk with a friend in a park that's 5km from each of our houses, chatted and caught up. That was nice, to see someone outside of the family, for more than a brief chat while on a walk.

At least you don't have a rooster announcing the sun coming up!

I'm glad you saw your friend and walked together. That sounds really nice.

We're supposed to hit 32 Celsius today, we are ten days to the equinox, and I want off the summer heat already.
