look, all I want is to make cookies

I went back and looked up my Fandom Stocking request of a couple of years ago, when I requested cookie/biscuit recipes and got many many many many.

I have yet made NONE of them.

I wonder if they'd count for my cookbook_challenge?

Mmmm. All the butter. All the sugar. All the refined flour.

Tonight, the power went off at 6:25pm. Emergency powerline work, supposed to take only 30 minutes. It only took 30 minutes and then the lights came back on.

However, it was perhaps a little unexpected and not terribly welcome right at dinnertime! I imagine there were a few households whose dinner was delayed by 30 minutes (or a few local takeaways that got an order that they wouldn't otherwise).

I used to enjoy baking a lot. I have some recipes that are simple and came through my family. I really liked making bread.

I haven't baked in years. I just don't seem to have the time.

And then I need to find someone to eat them.

those are recipes you already have and that you have not made. while they are not in a cookbook, you already had them bookmarked; for, possibly, odd values of 'bookmarked', but these are not recipes you first encountered by searching for them today. they should count.
