I keep WAFFLING, even tho typically all I do is pinch and treat, if I can even manage that. (LOL, that came out pervy.) I want to feel more connected to fandom but exchange culture doesn't seem that welcoming rn....

I'm not sure that anywhere in fandom is particularly welcoming right now, tbh. A handful of people keep up on DW, some people read my fic and comment or kudos, but I can't follow every discord server, let alone keep up with half the channels.

I'm not often on Twitter (not fannishly), I'm on FB but that's mostly real life, and I gave up on Tumblr (although I drop in every now and then just to take a peek).

Also, engagement is kind of exhausting right now...

Oh ghod, I can't handle Discord and fandom on Twitter looks like a nightmare. Fandom on Tumblr also looks unappetizing -- all that lecturing and cancel culture! -- but for me it's more of a navigation problem, I just can't find anything. No way am I doing anything fannish on FB with how it hoovers up personal data (I refuse to have the app on my phone).

I dunno. Fandom was so wrapped up in everything for me, and now it's just....not.
