Took two days off work. It's quiet right now and we've been trying to set something up and struggling to do it - our Development system is being upgraded and we've been put on the Sandpit system which is unreliable and not set up for anything.

So.

I took a couple of days off in lieu of going away at New Year. Booked in at a nice hotel for a couple of nights, with plans to go off and help a friend move tomorrow afternoon-evening.

It's not terrible. Kind of nice to be able to relax about without thinking of All The Things I Need To Do, but also kind of stressful because I have to do the Food Managing Thing, which is where I try not to overeat but end up eating too much anyway and feeling nauseously full for a couple of days.

There are some neat markets and stalls in the city right now, it being Lunar New Year. But the city feels seriously empty right now. Oh, there are people in the city, but comparative to what used to be in pre-panini times? It's really pretty deserted.

Anyway, regarding markets: I found a stall that is full of pretty cards and I am going to buy a HEAP of them tomorrow morning.

Now for early bed. I tell myself this every time. Sooner or later, I might even manage it...

Yay for a staycation! :D I'm glad you were able to rest.

Someone recommended chia seeds to me to help with overeating and they kind of help? I keep some mixed with Greek yoghurt and honey in the fridge and when I feel myself getting to that point, I'll go grab some. I think you can add them to water as well and a whole bunch of things.
