B1 is housesitting for the parental cat (parentals are away again) and then on her church houseparty for the weekend. B2 will be at church houseparty.

It's just me and the cats, baby!

Okay, and I seem to have managed to fill my weekend up with stuff. Include starting watching The Witcher with rmc28. So it might not be a very relaxing weekend.

Also, it's not a long weekend this weekend, although my brain keeps kind of thinking it is. I've had too many long weekends in a row lately, and I'm tired and just dunwanna.

It doesn't help that in the last week a couple of things have become fairly urgent, at least one of which isn't my fault but which falls under my purview and for whom I'm the first contact for the business when this kind of thing doesn't work. It took us two days to get the at-fault party to actually do something about it (and it might be technically questionable whether he's actually at-fault or it simply fell through the cracks).

Anyway, that's been the last couple of days and right now, I'm thinking I really want a pizza and a COVID test, because my throat is sore and I'm really tired, but I'm otherwise without symptoms, but COVID is certainly making the rounds right now.

For some reason I imagined I had more time to write this week and this weekend, and right now I just want to crawl into bed with the cats.

I find going to sleep with them is the struggle! They want to sit on me! On my hips, on my breasts, on my face... And then they wake up at 4am in the morning and think "OH IT'S TIME FOR FOOD!"

I drank a lot of water and went to bed and woke up feeling much much better. Still tired thinking about the weekend, but will manage.

I would kill for a long weekend after this week, but it's not a happening thing. Could be worse. I could not be working. (grin)

But I'm hoping to get some writing done, and I have laundry, and with any luck, climbing on Sunday. YAY!
