I should go to bed, it's 10:15pm and I've been tired since 8pm.

Smokey is happily sleeping. Mal is happily cleaning her back legs (you know, the one where cats roll back onto their spine, stretch their legs out, and just lean in and lick their inner thighs).

Had a not-quite standoff with the stepdad tonight; talking about the house and renos, and then dealing with him and all his negativity. I have enough of that in my own head, I really don't need his 'realism' on top of it, thanks.

I should really like to heat a house and have it maintain the heat for longer than, oh, 30 minutes. I hate being cold.

A couple of people have recently read Sharp Evening Stars & Bright Morning Flame - my MCU sedoretu series, and kudos'd the stories. It always warms my heart to know there are some people who enjoy it still.

So: rather worse than them killing off your favourite character so she's not in any of the subsequent canon, is them not killing off your favourite character and she's still not in any of the subsequent canon.

So tired of life. And I even have one of the better ones, too. Still tired of it.

Thanks for letting me know; I was wondering. Sometimes you get a person or two through, but they're usually just 'guests', while these are AO3 Users.
