Finding it really hard to concentrate today. Worse than usual. This may be, in part, due to the work I'm doing which is an area that I am almost completely unfamiliar with.

The result that we are trying to achieve is as 'simple' as removing one set of buttons from the screen and replacing them with another. Unfortunately, the actual understanding required to do this is somewhat beyond my experience and I am wrestling with it.

Also, it's Friday and I am distracted. COVID-negative (thanks, PCR) but still exhausted. Maybe chalk it down to the tattoo healing and go to bed early...

Tattoo is fine, healing film has come off and things seem okay, but the space is a squidge itchy. Oof. Also, more headaches. They're really starting to worry me, in fact; left side, pulse tinnitus, tension in left jaw (mandibular joint), etc. The doc thinks it's an ear infection and prescribes antibiotics (which, yes, work but are limited to a couple of days) but I'd like a slightly more thorough investigation.

Anyway, tonight, I'm planning to make crispy cauliflower steak. Have invited a friend to come by for dinner since her husband is back in hospital with kidney issues after COVID and I thought she might want a dinner that she didn't have to cook herself.

Today, I received a comment on one of my fics doing nothing save for telling me that the premise of the fic (women living together menstruating together) was incorrect. It was written in 2004.

Hugs and praying you feel better soon! Button work is often way more complicated than it ought to be. We've got a bug right now that some shoppable products are missing their buttons until you fiddle the options and the likely underlying cause is just silly and going to be a mess to update. Hope yours goes smoothly.

Are you sure you don't have a pinched nerve in your neck or maybe a disc is pinching a nerve?
