Just watched the first episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Summer Glau, "Zach" from Heroes (although I miss him from Heroes, dammit - Zach was the adorablest geek who never existed in any high school...), and the chick who plays Sarah Connor? Does it really well in spite of having to follow in Linda Hamilton's shoes. (Nearly impossible IMO.) Sitll manages to come off as both "mom" and "freaky super-determined protector".
I have to say, too, Summer does "freaky" in amazing ways.
Is it showing yet? How many eps have screened? Where can I get downloads?

How are they going to determine if it's popular enough to do a second season?

They'll probably wait til next year to decide about a second season, I would imagine. Or, since it looks like it's produced by WB, if they have the money they just might continue producing episodes and count on someone to pick it up if Fox doesn't. Probably depends on industry buzz and preemptive viewer interest.

I do think that the main chick is suitably intense. But it kinda cry for the fact that she is not as hot as Linda Hamilton while doing it. I mean, I'm counting on her to still do good but LH in the original T2 was just awesome.
