So many things to do this week.

I have a giant list of things that need doing before I leave, not least of which is:
- clear the dining room table
- tidy up the lounge room

I feel like it would be polite to clean the bathroom just a little. Especially since it is period season and everything is now bloody. Of course.

Can't seem to get anyone to contact us back about the windows, dammit!

Finished my DON'T PANIC document for the weeks while I'm not at work. Draft 1, anyway. At least one person seems to be on the ball about it, but I can see things going SERIOUSLY pear-shaped if an Unexpected Unforeseeable Events happens because I can tell them how to fix the common errors I know about (or tell them not to panic), but they're not actually able to troubleshoot because they don't have the knowledge.

Public holiday today - lovely and sunny, worked out in the garden, planting stuff out and tidying and sorting and neatening.

I just wish I'd gone and found a paintbrush and poisoned the mugwort. Damn stuff is popping up everywhere and apparently it's near-impossible to kill except with glyphosate...

All you can do is what you can do! If you've made best efforts to prepare for your absence, that's good enough IMO.
