My email spamblocker probably wouldn't think that the Stargate Fan Awards email was spam if it wasn't sent from "theonering" and didn't contain the title: "Congratulations! You have been nominated..."
Not that I'm likely to have been nomed, but I never looked in my spam folder before deleting emails earlier. Mainly because I never look as everything in there is usually crap...
I think I might drop them a mail and advise making the subject line a little clearer. Because it seems a lot of people have missed their notification e-mails.
You're the first person I heard of who got all their mails from the awards group. Everyone else that has commented on it has said that it went to their spambox.
I admit to using Gmail for LJ, but the yahoo ones for the handful of lists I'm on.
Is that why I kept getting that email! I'd wondered about that, because I've received it several times now, and I wondered if it meant I'd done something wrong when I registered. I guess they're just sending them out multiple times to everyone, then?
See, I don't know if I got sent it multiple times, because I only saw it this once, and only because I was looking for it after hearing that others had gotten their Stargate Fan Awards Nomination notifications.
But, yeah, I'd imagine that that's why it keeps getting sent out - because it ends up in the Spambox for most people.

Aaaand, don't worry, I still have your story. I've read it through once but want to read through again before I render comments.
