So I finally managed to hold a Salon Night and only one friend turned up.
In defence, I only sent out the reminder email yesterday morning (kept on thinking of it when I was nowhere near a computer), and got about six other people responding who said they'd love to come but couldn't do last night. There's always next week. The added down side of having prepared for around six guests only to have only one turn up: I have to eat all the food I prepared. Luckily, it's mostly snackish things - crudites and dip, some cheeses, a spot of fruit. Also lucky: I didn't also bake a cake as I initially thought to do. That would have been A LOT of food!
Today I am surprisingly tired.
Mind you, I also went to the newly-joined gym this morning to do some working out. So there's that. Back is still sore-ish and stiff.
