When I hear there's been a shooting, there's a number of reasonable assumptions:
- the country it happened in (the USA)
- who were the victims (a minority culture group)
- who was the perp (a white male)
Simply because these turn out to be incorrect for a specific instance doesn't change the odds.
It'd be a tragedy at any time but, dear God, in the middle of lunar new year after years of Asian-American bigotry given free rein?
Ironically, the viral tiktok I made? Was about guns. Timing, I guess.
