Nobody even wants stuff FOR FREE - a few years ago I tried to give away a bunch of (good quality) things, and it sometimes took weeks for anyone to even notice my post no matter how much I cross-posted and I bumped it every day. My assumption was 'people are greedy, they will snag it all in a second', which apparently was very wrong (one or two things did get snagged in a second, the rest in like a month).
