*raspberries* to
katstale, who tagged me. I knew I shouldn't have read the f-list this evening!
1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it."
My seven things, slightly rambling.
1. When I write I fic, I plan it out from go to whoa. I almost never start a story without the last line or last scene. Slightly obsessive writer? Why yes, that is me.
2. I have over 10 LJs. Most of them began life as RPG journals and then went silent when the RPGs died or went crazy. Three of those are journals about my writing progress (one 'to-do', one general writing issues, one has notes on my attempts at original works).
3. I have circumnavigated the globe three times (going all the way around) in the last five years. If I had not taken all my trips (both the circumnavigatory trips and the "hop across the pond" ones), I probably could have paid off a quarter of my mortgage by now.
4. I had a mortgage at age 21. It's not the same mortgage I have now at 31. If I'd had any sense, I wouldn't have a mortgage at all - I bought when the market was pretty much at its highest, and lost my regular job four months after that.
5. When I was twenty, I freaked myself out watching the X-Files. After the (I think it was) Season 2 finale, I completely rearranged my sleeping habits so I wouldn't sleep at night. I'd come home from work at 4, go straight to bed, wake up at midnight and try to stay awake until morning. It was horrible. This may go some way to explaining why I would watch Supernatural, but can't. Sixteen minutes into the pilot and I had to freeze the download and give up, no matter how adorkable the Winchester boys are.
6. When I go into my 'completed works' folder and select all the Stargate Atlantis stories, I get 166 files. However, that doesn't separate things like series, fanfic challenges, prompt battles, or 'short vignettes', all of which are grouped in the same file. All in all, I've probably written around 200 SGA fanfics over the last two years.
7. My dream house is actually quite small and cosy, but the property on which it sits is huge and has a view of both the mountains and the sea, and an organic vegetable garden with free-range chickens and a pond.
I tag:

innogen, and
friendshipper - if they have the time to do it.
I can't believe I did this: I never do memes!

Unfortunately, I live in the city and tend to find work in the city. My present job is unusual in that I'm working in what's generally considered 'rural' area - I drive past farmlands every morning to get in to work.

But, yes, I have property. Ish.

Aww, Sowwwy! But thank you for playing anyway! *hugs* I enjoyed reading your answers and getting to know you a little better. :)

Thank you, though. It wasn't too bad, really.

I love your organic vegetable garden and chickens :)

In the meantime, little vegie gardens have to suffice me.

I got as far as the guy pulling up at the abandoned farmhouse and the ghost-girl vanishing and couldn't keep watching.
I'm bad with suspense and ghosts and that kind of 'unseen' thing.
Which is also why I had extreme trouble after the DW episode 'Blink' (beware the weeping angels) - because my usual way of dealing with things I can't see is to not look at them...and so that episode quite screwed me up!
I'd love to get into SPN - I have a couple of friends who are really into it. Alas, I just don't have the mental steel to bring myself to watch the episodes!
