With a repertoire of nearly a thousand fics on AO3 over twenty years, it's not surprising that I'd forget a story or two that I wrote.

But someone kudos'd a fic that I had barely any memory of until I was at least halfway through. I couldn't even recall the twists and turns I'd put into it. Not one of my more popular works, but certainly one of the more interesting ones.

Yeah, that happens to me a lot. Partly because I suck at titles, so it usually takes me a bit to connect the story with the title even if I remember the story perfectly.
