(Some of them rather inexpertly.)
- went for a run
- had breakfast with mother
- did more window sealing
- got a friend around to take back her sheets
- found someone to take the desk shelving that's been sitting around for AGES
- cleaned a bit of the front porch, and got the power working again (see end of post)
- unthreaded the vertical blinds off the topbar, and rescued the cord
- narrowed the lids of the boxes I purchased for B1 to stick her documents in...
...then realised I didn't narrow them enough. I'm not doing that again, so they're just going to be document boxes for the study - but now I need to find pretty document boxes that will fit into a standard IKEA cube shelf.
It's positively amazing to me that nobody anywhere seems to make boxes so they fit documents in them, and then fit into an IKEA cube shelf! It seems ridiculous, really.
- drained one of the worm farms
- gave a few cuttings for striking to a new gardener in the local area
Now I have to make a couple of signs for a permaculture event tomorrow because I entirely forgot that it was on, I've been busy, and the guy who goes to these events is old and not at all technologically minded.
If I'd actually prepared for this, I'd have made some videos on some basic things people can do towards sustainability.
