Utterly zonked RN.

Have an abcess infection, as informed by doc, it will probably go away.

I've lost my iron tablets. Again. I manage one sheet of the things and then I lose the box. EVERY TIME. WTF, universe? Do you not want me to have energy?

Missed the intoabar due date. That's okay, I have some ideas, I just need to fill them out and shape them up.

Signed up for auexchange. All the usual fandoms, characters, and requests. I hope someone asks for something I can write, and that whoever lands with me can write what I'd like. That's always the roulette, isn't it?

I have superlatively bad luck in my favourite characters, where either nobody's interested in them or nobody's productive about them or nobody wants to write about them (all assurances to the contrary) and this includes the people producing, writing, and running the shows themselves. *sigh*

Anyway, I'm sure all the people who've ever mocked or disdained my choices are laughing after the latest disappointment. That's the kind of people I imagine they are.

No, I don't want to talk about it.

Also in this vein: the apostle Judas in The Chosen? Is a sweetheart. *sigh* At least I know this one is coming and that they're dedicated to showing him as a whole person, not just The Betrayer. It's still gonna hurt, though.

Work is kinda bleh right now. I've been so very grateful for these three-day-weeks. It's going to be hard to go back to the five days a week. But on the upside, it looks like the new PM is going to be implementing super-short-and-sweet meetings, not the "half an hour a day painstaking update on what's going on in everyone's workspace". We might get back to six-minutes, does-anyone-have-anything-to-raise?, no?, righto-carry-on kind of meetings we used to have. This is a good thing.

I have seen bits and pieces of the chosen, and I hear it's really good, but I've never managed to watch an episode--my brain just is not engaging with visual media any more, unless it's something I already know and love, and even then it's hit or miss. But I own the first two seasons on DVD because a parishioner gave them to me.
