What was going to be a nicely spaced-out birthday weekend has suddenly turned expensive.

The show I thought I was going to see tonight has turned out to be a Sunday afternoon show (my bad, I didn't check the booked time, and entered it in on the wrong date in my calendar). It overlaps with my hockey game.

And this is the week that we are super-short on players. As in, we're borrowing two players and we probably won't have any subs.

*sigh*

So either I leave my team high and dry for at least the first half of the game, cut the show short, or I entirely lose an expensive show ticket. As in a couple of hundred dollars worth of expensive. I'm trying to sell the ticket, but - as noted - it's an expensive ticket, a show with a narrow base, and short notice.

ARGH.

I have a counselling session tomorrow morning, too 8:30am with a guy I periodically use as something of a sounding board. This one is probably going to be about the financial situation and the feelings stirred up when my dad asked for money. Not to mention the house and my concerns over it, and the cost of the roofing, and my desire for a holiday...

oh no. I hope you can sell the ticket! If you do end up going to the show though, you should actually enjoy it. I'm not sure how bad it would fuck up your team to be so short on players though.
