A significant Season 3 trailer came out last night and there's a lot going on in the fandom!
Whew. Slightly unhinged. Oh, look, all fandoms are a little unhinged, I know that perfectly well - I've been that unhinged. However I'd forgotten how draining it is to be part of a fandom that froths when the slightest detail comes out. And has ship factions. Not even conflicting ship factions, just factions who want their pairing to be the Only And All.
However, watching the trailer, I have to say that in spite of Anthony and Kate's amazing chemistry in S2, I think I'm going to enjoy the plot of Penelope and Colin's season considerably more. I mean, I stil prefer Anthony and Kate as a pairing, but Pen and Colin's story is going to be a lot more satisfying for my id. Friends-to-lovers! Fake Dating! The Glow-Up! (The Glow-Up is for both of them, in fact, not just Pen.) Love Triangle (Around A Woman)!
Also: I feel bloody old. I want a group of forty-something-plus Bridgerton fans, who want to talk like halfway sane people about this. I know 'halfway sane' is not a moniker one can expect from most of fandom. BUT.
I wish I had my old icon-making programs. I want some more icons; brighter ones, and updated.
