I have a 'Civil War gets interrupted by Pepper and Maria' fic, from Helen Cho's POV (and involving Jane, because I like the 'human' women, this is, after all, me), and I'm trying to decide whether to go my customary route of a Steve/Maria angle (background) or to just have them friends.

To some degree, I don't expect Helen to be observant on that front, so it can come as a surprise to her, even if it's not to others.

Thoughts?
