So, there's a shutdown period for the client, but also a shutdown period for the company I'm contracting with.
Shutdown for the client is from the 24th December to the 1st January inclusive.
Shutdown for the company is from the 19th December to the 5th January inclusive.
These two things are not the same.
Anyway, so far as I know, I'm taking the week of Christmas off, and the week of New Year off, maybe coming back on the 2nd. It's all a little bit vague with client and with my supervisor, who is going to be keeping an eye on everything (so far as I know). Which is fine by me. I have a little bit of support to do on the old cilent - the one I worked at for the last four years, but it's pretty much 1 hour a day of checking things and making sure that everything is up and running.
That said, I've had to reset the password five times in the last week. I just can't remember any of the passwords I set for it! Here's hoping this time sticks.
