What 'a quiet day' means for me:
1. Plant out a few seedlings at sunset (after the worst heat of the day is done.)
2. Sew a quilt top or two. Found some nice easy blocks for the NMA cousins.
3. Write at least one more scene in a fic. Maybe one more scene in two fics.
4. Eat leftovers. Maybe make some more potato salad. Oh man, tomato salad. Need to make some more of that because we have SO MANY TOMATOES from the garden.
5. Read a few YT fics and maybe a book or two.
6. Sew a binding on the last couple of quilts I have to sew bindings on.
7. Make lists of things I want to:
a) bake
b) sew
c) write

Try this ...
I do a skillet dish with tomatoes. If you can't get pomegranate vinaigrette near you, substitute another sweet-tart and slightly sticky dressing. It's a good way to use up tomatoes.
Re: Try this ...
I will definitely work something out like this. Thank you!
Re: Try this ...
It started out as a whim, and the first version was so good that it became another reason to visit Naf Naf. It's one of the few restaurants we like for the leftovers -- the chicken skillet dish and the Hummus Busters. <3 Works best with mixed cherry tomatoes, but also with heirloom or other highly flavorful tomatoes.
