Since this is the start of a new year, this challenge will be e to set your own goals! Of course we can all make large or ambitious goals, remember that small and/or short goals are also good!

  • start writing The Nullifae: and if I grow

  • one chapter of The Gathering Clouds every two months

  • unpack and tidy away the boxes in the lounge room(from when we had the windows installed 2 years ago)

  • grow vegies in winter

  • replace the chicken house roof

  • replace the over-chicken-house tarpaulin

  • get the dozen finished quilts that are cluttering up my workspace to their destination

  • make another 6 quilts

Something that [personal profile] grav_ity said while talking about her list of goals, was that there were 'goals she could do herself' such as "write a book", 'goals that she needed someone else to achieve' such as "get a book published", and 'dream goals' such as "write a Star Wars book" which are wild and amazing.

In her case, it was originally 'write a Star Wars book' and, well, a decade later... :)

Stretch goals:
  • get a book published

  • get the roof replaced with colourbond, and insulated (stretch goal because we don't have the money for this and are unlikely to do so for several years yet

  • pay off B2's mortgage

dream goals:
  • be picked up by a major publisher

  • be asked to write a series (book, TV, movie) about one of my favourite 'commercial property characters'

Today, I am wearing a tiara while WFH. I have for much of the day. Just because.
