I just remembered.

There's supposed to be a scene in an episode where Sam sits Teyla and John down and addresses the matter of Teyla's pregnancy and how Teyla can't run around on the high-risk team because of it.

I'm guessing it's going to be this week or next. Anyone know?

And I suspect that's all the emotional continuity we're going to get out of the show. This isn't BSG, after all.

I hadn't run across that spoiler, so I can't answer your question; but wow! An actual SCENE of that? I figured that was going to be dealt with off-screen entirely.

ALthough, it looks from some of the advertisements that Teyla will be in the thick of things again sometime in the future, so maybe the emotional continuity won't be dropped? Dunno...

o_o How many Teyla-less episodes are in the middle there?

I wonder if trying to keep Teyla on Atlantis will become an issue. Let’s face it, Teyla isn’t under any obligations to stay on Atlantis, she is neither a member of the expedition, nor the military, so there really is no way they can keep her from walking through the gate and looking for her people on her own. I’m hoping that to keep her from venturing out alone and unprotected, a compromise between her, Sam, And John is struck, maybe something that limits her participation on some missions, but allow her to accompany her team on missions concerning her people.
