Guide to using OpenIDUseful for people who don't have a Dreamwidth account because it includes:
- the ability to join communities and read members-locked posts
- the ability to read locked posts if Dreamwidth users add you to their access list
- the ability to track posts, entries, communities, and users and receive notifications in your DW inbox and your email. You can even track specific tags.
- the ability to tweak your user settings for things like being shown age warnings and the style of your reading page
I'm probably going to be running more things on Dreamwidth during the week, because I (presently) have access to the DW site at work, whereas I don't have access to the LJ site. I can post to LJ via Dreamwidth (like this post), but I can't answer anything that's posted there until I get home.
Since I have gym classes on Mondays and Thursdays, hockey training on Tuesdays, and Bible study on Wednesdays, the chances of me answering you on DW are around 4x better than those of me answering you on LJ.
Now to get through my day from hell. I have decided that there will be pastries at the end of it, by hook or by crook. PASTRIES WITH SUGAR AND FRUIT AND CREAM AND CHOCOLATE. BECAUSE.
