Sent here for work, staying for a couple of extra days to wander/roam after the work is done. (Hopefully done by today, although yesterday wasn't exactly promising.)

progression of a day )

In the more fannish realm, I have finished my MCU Ladies Ficathon. I didn't end up using the suggested prompt in the end, but it's pretty femme-focused. I hope they like it.

Right now, I'm trying to write [community profile] pbam: Golden Oldies - unfortunately I have to write the setup, too, and that always takes longer.

I woke up pretty early, thought I'd go down to the gym then get some writing done before heading in to the city to snag some breakfast (I had the hotel breakfast yesterday; it was typical casino food, which is less-than-impressive in my books. I think I'll just get my usual coffee-and-eggs today.)

The pre-7am gym is full of the 60+ group keeping fit. Trying to get a machine is impossible, and even when one is vacated, they move onto it like it's their right. So I did a few stairs, did some cycling, and gave up. Went back to my room and just did situps and pushups instead. not what I wanted - I need to get my fitness levels back up for hockey season - but maybe it'll be better this evening?

Oh bother. Have I posted anywhere about the MCU Ladies Treats Collection? I don't remember.

If you want to add a 'treat' for one of the participants in the MCU Ladies Ficathon, then post your work at AO3 and put "MCULadiesTreat2015" in the collections field when posting.

And anyone can post to it, not just the participants. So if you missed signing up, but you see a story you'd like to write from the Requests of the MCU Ladies Ficathon, then please do write something and treat someone with it!

I hate asking people for help after they've sneered at me. It feels like crawling.
