restless

I didn't get quite everything I wanted done over the weekend. For instance, I didn't get a quilt top done like I was planning.

But I did get three episodes of Agents of SHIELD, and would have done more if not for the blip in programming, whereby 2.07 didn't seem to be available on any of my usual sites. (Yes, I've since bought it - and the entire season - from iTunes.) Given how carefully everything is structured, I imagine that watching 2.08 without watching 2.07 will occasion lots of "WTF, mate?"

Not sure I can use Bobbi in the section of fic I was planning to utilise her; I don't think the timelines work - I had the same problem with Natasha, Melinda, and Victoria Hand. I could probably use either Isobelle Hartley or Sharon Carter in a pinch...

Need to get some serious writing done on that story(for marvel_bang). Also: Sokovia, suburbia, and the Senate where Steve is accustoming himself to being normal again.

And I need to get some serious dressmaking done...

I did some nursery shopping on the weekend, too; we now have a banana tree which I planted out on the weekend and several more asparagus which need to go into the ground pretty soon.

I think I've got the backyard worked out - more orchard and perennial with limited annual beds for the time being. It mostly remains to be seen how difficult it is to eradicate the nut-grass which keeps popping up without spraying everything in sight. Not sure if now is a good time to contemplate keeping chickens while trying to manage everything else...

At least work has been productive today: got the two outstanding pieces of work done, even if I may not be back tomorrow. According to resourcing and the Account Manager, I wasn't even supposed to be here today! If nobody tells me otherwise, I'm not coming in tomorrow!
