Look, I don't vote Labor, but I would 100% vote and canvas for them in my Liberal-heavy electorate if Penny Wong was the leader. Which she isn't, and probably isn't going to be, because, a) she's from the Senate, not the House, b) she's visibly Asian which is still totes a no-no in a western democracy, c) she's a lesbian.

There was a marshmallow bunny sitting on my desk. There is presently a discussion going about Australian marshmallow vs US marshmallow as put forward by this guy who is obviously from America.

It is a quarter to 9, and almost nobody is in yet. I am so leaving at 4:30pm this afternoon, because I stayed until 5pm the last couple of days and I am DONE.

Most people are so proud they would rather carve a chunk out of their own flesh than allow someone else to win.

Tomorrow is Earth Day, with Earth Hour supposed to be a time when we turn everything off and contemplate our world. Frankly, at this point, it's pretty useless.

Oh, I also have to process a kg of olives, which were picked about a week ago and are taking up space in the fridge. As well as probably rotting. :(

garlic
- add top 20cm of bathtub woodchips to black compost bin, mixing in with chook house droppings
- put down green azolla layer in bathtub over present woodchips
- put down straw layer
- mix worm castings with organic compost mix, fill top of bathtub to 25 cm
- plant garlic (2 days to do so - might be Monday: CHECK MOON CALENDAR)

- plant out into pots with mix of cow manure and cheap potting mix

- prune down to open up the middle, also cultivate four branches at cardinal points for fruit fly netting in spring

This should probably be done soon, after a crazy long summer, we're heading into chillier times, and I have bananas, a mango, and a bunch of papayas that need somewhere to grow. If I'm going to do this, I want it ready for winter...
