People in the US don't post much on Sunday nights. Weekends are usually pretty quiet for posting and I don't have many people who I follow - and even fewer who follow me...
I am about to be overrun by peaches and nectarines:
This year, I'm going to do a lot more canning than preserving or jamming. In giant 1L bottles that we can maybe go through in the space of a month during winter. Obviously the big problem is that I think it still needs to be preserved in sugar syrup. I vaguely remember reading somewhere about preserving in water, but...I can't find it anymore.
Anyway today (Tuesday), I processed four bottles and three jars of nectarines. Not sure I did it right, I guess we'll find out. I wanted to get the good stuff bottled, and then put the less-good stuff into jams.
Next up are the peaches.

NaNo is going okay right now. I'm not liking the NaNo site, it's just weird and wacky these days, so I mostly spend my time in the local Discord.
Okay, I have a problem. I mean, it's a great problem to have. But my stepdad is looking to sell their 60-inch TV, or to give it to us. (Look, he's a grumpy old fart, but he is a generous grumpy old fart, at least to people he cares about.)
I'm like YES WE'LL TAKE IT. Have I ever mentioned that B1 doesn't like change?
We'd need to set up a wall bracket for it to sit in. And move the current TV - get rid of it, or sell it or set it up somewhere else. Something. Which is effort that I'm going to end up doing. So I'm inclined to say 'no' because our TV works perfectly well for what it is, and it's not like we use it all that much...
One of my recent exchange recips hasn't responded at all to their gift. Always demoralising. But also demoralising is that almost nobody else has either.
