A day of sudden chill in the middle of warmer weather. But we had rain for most of yesterday afternoon and evening, and I planted out the glass gem corn.
I (with the assistance of the sistren) adjusted the chicken coop tarp so it hangs higher, is out of the way of anyone walking under it (to a height of about 1.8m; I am 1.6m). Looks a lot nicer than it did before - it was sagging over the roof.

I just cannot with the world right now. I know many of you can't, either. *hugs*

Father's Day yesterday. Zoomed with Dad and the stepfam, and halfbro in HK on Saturday night. Zoomed with stepdad and the stepfam on Sunday afternoon. Sent a local Texas-style BBQ to stepdad and mum - they were busy, it arrived super-late, but they enjoyed as much as possible give the awful food snobs that we are. :)

This week: not much, she says, trying to work while finishing off her AU Exchange rewrite, netting her fruit trees, cooking up the leftovers in the fridge, persuading her neighbours to help her make compost, and cutting six new quilts...
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to not do anything. But then I think of the friends who cannot do anything (because of medical issues) and how they long to be able to do things but aren't able to anymore.
So maybe it would be nice to do a little less. I'm not very good at doing less, though...
