Had electricians in to add 2 plugs and wire up the pump for the water tank, also to look over a lamp that hasn't been working.
I am freaking exhausted. Maybe I need to have more protein? I don't think I had much yesterday. An egg, a slice of proscuitto, a few slices of pepperoni, and a few mouthfuls of my sister's pork steak and lamb steaks.
I have noticed that I'm getting headaches after eating sweets - fruit jellies, covered in sugar. That's probably an indication that I should start cutting back.
Trying to work out what to do about the back porch and lighting. Currently fluorescent lights that come on and of are the go and I'd like someting a little softer, more moody. Something with which to sit out there in the summer evening and just chill. I mean, that would require actually having space on the back porch table which *laughs in Disorganised* but... Maybe?
I asked the electrician about solar porch lighting, but he admitted he doesn't know anything about it, largely because it would put him out of business. On one hand, I can see it not really being his thing, on the other...solar lighting isn't going to put electrical out of business. There's a space and a place for lighting that's flick-it-and-it's-on, and a space and a place for something a little softer, a little dreamier, and which doesn't have to be absolutely reliable.
Anyway, I put it out to my FB feed and we'll see if anyone gets back to me on it.
Oh, today was supposed to be WIP Wednesday for quilting. Forgot that, better go type something up.
