I think I am in a 'hard slog' section of my life right now.
Also, why is it that the morning when I don't check the system is the morning when there are errors? I can check every day for a fortnight running and everything is green, but the instant there's a morning I don't check it? BOOM. Red flags everywhere?
I am feeling down about my original fiction writing. Again. It just feels like it's going nowhere, and I'm writing nothing, and nobody will want to read it anyway. Yes, I know, keep slogging and all that, but I've been writing this damn thing for two years now and it's going nowhere. I know where it has to go, but getting it there is so difficult.
B1 has started a new job - I think it's the morning and evening carer/assistant shifts. Getting them out of bed (a hoist is involved) and most likely cleaning and getting them ready. I just hope she's up to it. Her other jobs are, while physical, not quite as physical as this one sounds. And it's both 7-9am and 3-5pm shifts for half the week.
I found a discord with a little contigent of Australians and it's really quite delightful to be able to converse casually about things happening around us (and matters relevant to Australian shores) without having to provide the explanation.
