Oof. A lot more effort than advertised!

But getting there, slowly.

I tried using a foam filler this morning. It got...a wee smidge out of hand. But I worked out how to lay down a smooooooth line (when I have smooth edges, which I mostly don't), and also that I need a LOT OF WATER to clean up the mess while trying to seal the doorframes.

Also: incredible wastage.

I did manage to seal up the floor to the skirting boards along one side of the room. For a really good, professional finish, it would have been best to pull the skirting board off and seal the wall to the floor, but that would require actually pulling it off, cleaning and stripping the skirting board, repainting it, and then putting it back on. Who's got the time for that? Not I!

I'm not going to worry too much about it being 'unsightly', I'd rather the seal than the gap where the wind sometimes blows in during the winter. Also, absolutely no plans to sell this house anytime soon, so we'll just hunker down and bunker up.

Tomorrow morning: seal my bedroom and the study, repaint the bedroom and the study and the kitchen window (or maybe I should repaint the kitchen window tonight ready for tomorrow? Hm.)

I'm going to need more tubes of sealant, though. Eek.

Hockey, and apple-cider making, and maybe I'll go visit the LGBTQIA-affirming church in person on the other side of the bridge when cider-making is done? IDK. Their service starts at 4pm and I won't be finished on the northside of the bridge until around 4pm...

Anyway:
- hockey gear
- apples
- juicer
- bottles
- apron
- something decent to wear after?
