Monday to Wednesday, working in the office (old workplace) so don't have as much time/access to external sites. They're pretty locked down.
Staying in an apartment; while it's quiet, I'm kind of glad I chose the apartment instead of the share place. Also: I can cook my own things if I need to (but I mostly won't need to). That's always a nice option. Sometimes you just want a glass of milk somewhere that's silent, not in a bar that's playing music. Drinking straight milk in a bar is also tricksy because of appearances, etc. I suppose I could have it in a coffee cup. A lot of bars in Australian cities also have a coffee machine, because sometimes late night patrons want coffee, not alcohol, and there's often a bistro where people (sometimes families) will come sit and eat, and have a cuppa after dinner.
I am very zonked.

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday was the State Masters' Hockey competition. It was down in the south of Sydney and while we could have driven an hour home (well, an hour and a half in the case of my roomie) each night, we decided we'd book in with a hotel and stay out.
( big long and hockeyish )
I didn't score any goals, alas. At least, none that were allowed. I scored goals, but both time the umpires disallowed it for something that had happened a second before and which they'd blown the whistle for.
ACK! So frustrating!
In the end, it was a good weekend, good games, a good time with friends.
And now I'm really tired and should be going to bed. I was going to try to write the last few chapters of the novel, but I'm barely able to keep my eyes open right now and so I'm going to give it up tonight as a lost cause and try tomorrow morning. Maybe.
