JM said in his blog once (and I mean circa S4, not at the time) that it wasn't Kanaan Teyla was referring to. You can take that for what it's worth--since it was never established canonically, they could decide at any point that it was, and JM not only isn't good at continuity himself, he thinks it's a contemptible quality to remember lines from one episode to the next! But still.
