Funnily enough, I've seen this before in the SGA fandom - by Sheppard/Weir shippers - especially post-'Conversion' because he kissed/sexually assaulted* (* delete as applicable) Teyla.
I've seen so many people pro Sheppard/Weir who are anti-Sheppard. In fact, I've seen it in McShep as well. With people being 'anti' one of the guys.
