Working on another
paintedspires drawing, but have been hit by the midway "who are you kidding?" blues. And have the skulking feeling that it's mostly time-wastage against the
sgabigbang that couldn't.

Incidentally, thank you to the peeps who nominated and voted for me in the SGFAs. I won three categories - two John/Teyla, on Ronon/Other. Those were pretty much the only ones I had even an outside chance of winning anyway - the other noms in the voting were two team, two Teyla and one Rodney. Stiff competition in all three categories.
Anyway, even the nominations made me happy. So thank you so very much, people-who-liked-my-fic. It's always nice to be told these things (even in an indirect manner).
I have to say, though, I'm glad I'm not on the SGFA team. The JT Awards were work enough organising, sorting, and arranging everything, and that was relatively small and is over until next year. Isis has more people to help out - although I'm not sure where we're sitting with Isis this year since the SGFAs are gearing up for 2008 already and that doesn't really leave suitable space for fans to take a breather.

For those who were interested in the Teyla Thing-A-Thon, I'm going to run it towards the end of summer. I might push for everything to be completed by my birthday (early August), but I think I'll be nicer and give people a bit more time!
Then, too, I'm hoping early S5 canon gives her many wonderful things to say and do, and people whose asses she can kick, thereby smacking fans in the face with the Awesomeness Of Teyla (as compared to having to actually notice it, which is apparently a lot more difficult). I don't know what spoilers are in, I haven't checked them lately. (And I don't think I want to know, either. It just gets depressing.)
So.
I haven't been up with the spoilers, I haven't been up with the f-list, I haven't even done the little femmeslash fic I promised Tricia for her migraine last weekend. *hugs* I keep getting stuck on Teyla/Kate ("stuck" as in "it doesn't sound right" - I've already rewritten it twice), and I have to pick between Teyla/Sam and Teyla/Keller. It's all one big ARGH.
(Sorry, Tricia.)
