I'm kinda sorry that my posts have been so boring lately. Most of my efforts are focused on the handful of things I'm madly working on, and I don't post real-life stuff on this journal. There's very little news on a Teyla-front and even less on a John-Teyla front, and I could count the number of fans who talk to me about those two topics on my hands and still have fingers left over, anyway.

Hey, azure_horizon, did your A-Z of Atlantis fic thingy end up happening? Would you be interested in a game of 'fic tennis' perchance?

Also, um, I have this really twisted idea for a John/Michael story. I've had it for a while, but I think I need to write it before S5 comes out. It's really not a nice story.

And I want more icons. Teyla, John, Ronon, and Rodney, in duets and in team. Anyone got post recs for team-focused icon makers? Preferably ones who like Teyla rather than just tolerate her?

I confess that I don't feel I know enough about Teyla to engage in a conversation with someone as knowledgeable about Teyla as you are. (it'd be like a five-year-old vs Gary Kasparov)

I always feel lucky if I stumble across an icon post that has some nice Teyla icons. Or is not just Rodney or John or John/Rodney. I can't rec any specific posts, but I've got icon makers' LJ names in my userpics; the Teyla icons that I have generally came from posts full of Teyla icons, if I recall correctly...

Yes. I know the feeling. My usual haunts are nihil_est and spiritcoda, but I've just recently been thinking that I need some new iconage.

My A-Z is still happening... Though I have stopped it for a while. I tried to broaden my horizons to other fandoms (tried to get back into Pirates of the Caribbean, Firefly etc) but I always ended up doing the Atlantis ones. I should probably start back on that :D

As for the fic tennis, I would be interested in doing that :) I'm going to start one with Wedjatqi and one with Camy to try and inspire me and others to write, so yeah, that would be good :)

and re: icons. Camy has started making icons and she likes Teyla. Also Luciana at Gateworld. I don't know if Luciana has a LiveJournal though.

I'm mostly looking for LJ icons. The meaning of 'icons' elsewhere tends to take a slightly broader view than LJ allows you to upload. (namely the filesize gets too large)
