Well, I decided to reserve any judgement untill the show actually airs... Though, to be honest, unless they make it really interesting and original... I don't think it's going to last. I like your idea of the lead not being a white male. That would definitely be something new. Though I don't know what 'big name' I would like to see in the stargate franchise...
