I have been watching a lot of shows lately, haven't I? Eureka, BSG, and now Dexter. This is a new experience for me - I've tended to be largely monogamous when it comes to watching shows.

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] arabel and I are watching our way through S1 of Dexter, and enjoying "The Ice-Truck Killer" storyline immensely. I'm really liking that it's a show where all the characters can both fuck up and be fucked up - and be acknowledged as such, while still being 'good guys'.

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] arabel had a question about the episode we watched last week, which was 1.08 - Shrink Wrap.

Are we supposed to clue in to the fact that Morgan(Dexter's sister, whose first name A and I simply can't remember)'s boyfriend is the Ice Truck Killer before we see him in his freezer wrapping up the next vic?

I mean, we kinda clued in the instant he started taking an interest in Morgan. It's semi-obvious during the sex scene between them, and bloody obvious by the time he's doing plaster casts of Morgan's legs, but we couldn't work out if it was supposed to be screaming at us from the point at which we see the 'fake foot' he made for Tony Tucci.

Anyone?

I need more icons. I have 88 icons, and at least 75 of them are SGA.

Deb is her name.

With the ICT, it's not so much who he is as something else. So don't you worry just yet. :)

I think Dexter is a twisty enough show that a vague possibility that he could have been a red herring lingered for awhile, but as grav_ity implies, don't worry - there's more to come.
